If you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed and not sure what to get the book lover in your life, or if you’re even doing a bit of retail therapy for yourself, I’ll save you the time of clicking through the pages and pages and pages of Amazon or Google for the best bookish holiday gifts this year. I’ve done all the hard work for you, and curated my third annual holiday gift guide below of all my favorite ideas for book lovers this Christmas. Bookish Memberships/Subscriptions

Audible Membership

Get an Audible membership for 99 cents for three months, then $14.95/month for one book credit and Audible+ library access, AND a $20 Audible credit

$44.85, NOW $0.99 (SAVE 99% for three months) + $20 credit | OFFER ENDS DEC 2ND!

I’ve had an Audible membership last three years, and I honestly love it. While I normally grab audiobooks from my local library via Libby or these other apps, there have been several times with new releases where they aren’t available yet, or have a super long wait list, or they’re an Audible exclusive, so it’s nice to be able to jump into audible and start listening. Plus, some Romantasy authors like Danielle L. Jensen actually publish their novels on Audible first and they’re included in the Audible library (with the hard copies being released six months after the audiobook)!

Kindle Unlimited Membership

Get a Kindle Unlimited membership 99 cents for three months, then $11.99/month for access to the KU catalog.

$35.97, NOW $0.99 (for three months)

I believe this only applies if you’re new to Kindle Unlimited, but worth a check! I’ve had my KU membership for a couple of years now, and I would say if you’re the type of person who loves reading indie authors, and lots of fantasy romance, it’s a great deal. You also get access to magazines. Keep in mind you can have up to 20 titles checked out at once, but you can always swap them out.

Libro.fm Membership

$14.99/month + Get TWO bonus audiobook credits at sign up. USE CODE: SWITCH

One credit per month, 30% off additional audiobooks, and credits never expire. 500,000+ audiobooks to choose from and every purchase supports independent bookstores. <3

The alt dust jackets also make an amazing gift (and they’re a small business)!

The Silo Series: Wool, Shift, Dust by Hugh Howey (boxed set)

Are you late to the Silo party? I read Wool a number of years ago after meeting Hugh at a conference and being super intrigued by this sci-fi story, which he originally self published. New Kindle Paperwhite

$159.99, NOW $129.99 (SAVE 19%)

New Kindle Scribe - preorder

$419.99

Some of you know I was a holdout on getting a Kindle for YEARS, but a couple Prime Days ago, I decided to snag an Oasis, and I’ve been beyond happy with it! I’m honestly so sad they discontinued that model, but if I were to get a new one today, I’d probably go with the Paperwhite, which is still water resistant. I figured it was basically the same as reading on the Kindle app on my iPhone, but it’s so much easier on your eyes. If the book lover in your life has been asking for a Kindle, or you want to add one of these to your wish list, do it now while they’re on sale! If you’ve been waiting to upgrade, you can also get an additional 20% off by trading in your old device. Now you might be wondering why I didn’t include the Kindle Colorsoft above, but honestly, I’ve seen such bad reviews for it with the yellow light band, etc., and I personally avoid buying a V1 of any technology as it usually has a lot of bugs and problems to be worked out in subsequent models. It IS pretty though, so I won’t say don’t get it. If you like annotating, the brand new Kindle Scribe with a redesigned display is coming out December 4th and is available for preorder.

Happy holiday shopping, book lovers! If I come across new finds over the next few days, I’ll update this guide, so make sure to bookmark this article and check out even more gift ideas on my Storefront!

P.S. If you end up getting a copy of any items through an Amazon affiliate link above, you’ll be helping me support this site and newsletter. Thanks in advance for supporting a fellow bookworm! BTW, I will always disclose affiliate links when they’re present. :) Happy reading!
