Who doesn’t need a reminder to keep persevering when you feel small or discouraged? Tolkien has so many wonderful quotes, it’s always hard to choose, but this one seemed to stand out this month. Maybe because I’m starting a new adventure with the bookish merch shop, and excited and terrified to see where it goes. I can’t wait to see Galadriel’s story unfold in the new The Rings of Power show.

September makes me nostalgic for Hogwarts. Yet another good reminder from Dumbledore. Of course it’s ok to dream big dreams, but don’t forget to take care of your day-to-day life. I’ve seen a lot people share more about their mental health on social lately, and it’s been wonderful to know I’m not alone in my feelings. The past few years have had a huge impact on all of us, and it’s turned me into a complete hermit. So this is a good reminder to get out and enjoy ‘real life’ once-in-a-while!
