Complimentary Bookish Tech Backgrounds for August 2022

A Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas quote image on a desktop with a white background, for the 10 year anniversary of Throne of Glass

It’s the last month of summer, and people seem to be deep in their RomCom era, but I am always ready for Fantasy Fall. How could I not include Throne of Glass wallpapers for the 10 year anniversary this month?! Enjoy two of my favorite Throne of Glass quotes, and one from another fantasy series I fell in love with earlier this year…the sequel comes out this month, so scroll down to check it out. Based on everyone’s votes, I’ve included some with calendars and some without, so you’ve got options, my friends. Please feel free to comment books or shoot me a DM of books you’d like to see included in the future!

Who doesn’t need a motivational quote to look at every time they open their computer or phone? There’s something really visceral about the phrase, “rattle the stars,” that, for lack of a better term, feels epic. I know, so lame. But we owe it to ourselves to pursue our dreams, so I hope you’re going after yours.

Did you also grow up going to the library every week? Even though I grew up in a tiny little town, we had a great library, and I’m so grateful to have been able to further develop my love of reading. Ideas and knowledge are important to cultivate, and in case you needed the support and reminder: just because we all love fantastical stories doesn’t make that any less valid.

One of my favorite reads of 2022, All of Us Villains is perfect for people who want a magical mix of The Hunger Games and The Atlas Six. Be warned, there is a cliffhanger, but the sequel, All of Our Demise comes out this month on August 30th!
